The Chaman Vatika Hostel follows a structured set of rules and regulations to ensure a safe, nurturing, and disciplined environment for all students. These guidelines are designed to promote personal growth, community building, and respect for shared spaces.

1. Accommodation & Facilities

  • Rooms are allotted based on class, with no special preferences.

  • Maintain cleanliness and report any maintenance issues promptly.

  • Personal belongings should be stored securely, and prohibited items (e.g., heating appliances, alcohol) are not allowed.

2. Safety & Security

  • Access to the hostel is restricted to authorized individuals.

  • Emergency procedures are communicated and practiced regularly through drills.

  • CCTV surveillance ensures security in common areas while maintaining privacy in rooms.

3. Quiet Hours & Visitors

  • Quiet hours are enforced to maintain a peaceful environment for study and rest.

  • Visitors are allowed only during scheduled events and with prior approval.

4. Health & Wellness

  • A medical room is available with a visiting doctor and 24-hour nursing support.

  • Hygiene standards are strictly maintained, and students are encouraged to keep personal spaces clean.

5. Value Education

  • Daily Sandhya prayers and Yagya ceremonies are mandatory for spiritual development.

  • Special cultural ceremonies such as Upnayana and Medhavin are organized throughout the year.

6. Discipline & Conduct

  • Adhere to the hostel’s code of conduct, respecting fellow students and staff.

  • Violations of conduct will result in appropriate disciplinary actions.

  • Weekly surprise inspections ensure students possess only permitted items.

7. Dining & Meals

  • Nutritious meals are provided, and proper dining etiquette is expected in the dining hall.

8. Communication & Feedback

  • Weekly phone calls (20 minutes) are scheduled on Sundays to connect with parents.

  • A feedback system is in place for students to voice their concerns or suggestions.

9. Personal Property

  • Personal property should be stored safely; the hostel is not liable for lost or stolen items.

  • No prohibited items (such as alcohol, illegal substances, or heating devices) are allowed.

10. Co-Curricular Activities

  • Regular co-curricular activities, sports, and cultural events are organized.

  • Monthly inter-block competitions contribute to a competitive spirit and foster teamwork.

11. Emergency Response

  • Report emergencies immediately to hostel staff.

  • Participate in regular emergency drills and familiarize yourself with safety procedures.
